Robert Plant and the Band of Joy on HDNet

On Sept 2 last year Robert Plant previewed his new album and band, both called Band of Joy, at the HMV Theatre in London’s Kentish Town. The album, which has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, has been a critical and commercial success, was released 11 days later.

In October The Guardian Newspaper in England ran a series of five videos, one per day from the show. Now HD Net in the United States will be showing the concert on Sunday Feb 20 at 8:00 PM (EST).

Robert Plant ploughs his way through a tight and seamless set spanning the last three decades of his career, before finally rewarding his steely following with a raw but nevertheless on-the-money version of "Gallows Pole", which leaves the crowd chanting for more.

The concert will be rebroadcast Feb 21 at 1:30 AM
