The Return of Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

While Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience dates for Chile and Australia were cancelled last month, his California and Nevada dates in October are still a go.

However, it looks like The Experience will, once again, expand their California shows to include many more cities. Currently, dates for Napa Valley, Reno, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Indio, San Francisco and Sacramento are listed as scheduled. He did have a Westbury, New York date scheduled for November 9th but, while it has disappeared from his website, tickets are currently on sale for that show. It appears you can also add Pittsburgh to the itinerary.

Anthony Grisolla, a poster on the mailing group For Badgeholders Only, heard an ad for a show in Pittsburgh on November 17th, at Carnegie Library Music Hall. A customer service representative told Anthony that tickets would go on-sale Friday.

From the 9th to 17th is a little more than a week, surely there must be more. In the past, JBLZE has done about three weeks of shows in the Northeast.

If you hear of a show in your area, let me know so I can fill in the tour dates.

Rock and Roll

John Paul Jones stepped on stage at the Sunflower Jam at the Royal Albert Hall in London this weekend. Joining Jones et. al., was the guy who gave Robert Plant his first hit in the classical charts, Alfie Boe. This time, Alfie got to play rock star, and seemed to love it.

A New Bonham

Congratulations to Zoe Bonham on the birth of her daughter yesterday:

Congratulations to my sister Zoe and her partner Adrian, on the birth of their little girl, born 9-13-12. 8lbs, 1oz.

Zoe is daughter to John and Pat Bonham, Jason Bonham's sister, and an accomplished and critically acclaimed singer and songwriter in her own right. As well, Bonham is a DJ of some note.

Congratulations to mom and dad, and good luck to the youngest Bonham.
